My Project Rock 1's felt great, but after about 4 weeks of use they started to fall apart. The threads on the heel loop started to go first and then the sole began to separate. I only wore them 5-6 hours a week. I thought the high price point was because of the shoes quality, but it seems like it's because the Rock's name is attached to it.
When I purchased these shoes I could not wait to get them and train in them. When i first tried them on I was wondering where all the arch support was? I tried doing heavy leg day twice in them and I was really disappointed to say the least. I have not worn them since. I have worn a size 12 my whole life so that is what i ordered and I thought that they were a size 13 when I put them on.
This shoe is not for fitness. Feels like your wearing boots. I love UA gear, but not the shoes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Too wide in the toe box. Offers little support due to room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I recieved these shoes as a present. They are too big and the ankle cuffs are lose so they rub the back of my ankles raw. I was looking foward to breaking them in and getting some good training out if them. But it dont look like that will be happening.
Not too sure who put these shoes together. I have been gifted 3 pairs in different colors and each pair has quality issues. Sizing is not consistent. Also on every pair the glue is visible where the sole of the shoe meets the fabric. It’s actually difficult to tell if this is the shoe ripping or if this is glue. Regardless the glue should not be visible on the fabric above the sole and/or to have the product ripping after 3 weeks of wear isn’t good either. Shoe is great looking but due to these issues I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone.
Shoe looks awesome but they should really sell them in stores so that consumers can try them on. I own close to 50 sneakers all are a size 10. These shoes RUN too big. I've bought 3 pair trying to find my fit.
10 - too big at the toe
9.5 - too big at the toe, but arch of foot does not align with shoe.
9 - same issue as the 9.5.
I see there is a release on 9/20 for another colorway. Hopefully they fixed the sizing issue. If you look at any picture on social media Blue Project 1s you can see the toe creases from those wearing a shoe that is too big. Look and see for yourself.
These shoes are way too big. They are not very comfortable either. I have the Deltas, and i have the same size on those, and those are much more comfortable than these and fit better. Its too bad it is sold out, else i would exchange them. Disappointing shoe considering the project rock delta was such a good shoe.
Bought them on 06/05/19 and have been very happy with the overall performance. However, the boot part has been losing its shape and elasticity in only 6 months and I alternate with different shoes so it's not from over wear. Now the inside came apart to which I tried gluing it back on but comes apart every time I try to put my foot in. The rest of the shoe looks brand new as I take good care of them. I will be contacting customer service for this and will update my review afterwards.
These are found under the “athletic shoe” filter but please, for the sake of your ankles, do not try to do any athletic movements in them. They are fine if you’re lifting weights or walking in a straight line but do not try to do any fast lateral movements in them. Your foot slides off the sole and it feels like your foot is going to explode out of the side of the shoe.
