Sonic 4 is my 3rd pair in this series. I had all but ver 2...
They tend to run small for me so I have been consistently getting 1/2 bigger.
The tongue isn’t attached to the sole with wings like in Sonic3. UA should update the site to avoid misleading.
I had a scare and went to the store itself to verify that I didn’t get a “factory error” set as I got mine via online purchase...
Sonic works great for speed work but not for daily run if you do more than 10K each time.
I love this series and will wear it for those days when I want a faster pace.
This is my first pair of UA shoes and i am impressed, the back heal cushion makes it feel very good and the bluetooth included chip that measures your runing stats is an extra bonus i didnt expect and im glad i got them. Also the color comination i got black/neon green dont show well on the pics i uploaded.
I love the comfort of the shoe. It's very stable and wonderful to run in. I got 1/2 size larger and it fits well when running. Well cushioned and my feet felt neatly snugged in. I took it out for 2 runs so far with a total distance of 12km for each run. During the first run, MapMyRun only capture 1.9km. Came back and searched for the troubleshooting solution in Support. Apparently, the latest update did not work well with Android power saving function so I had to turn that off. During the 2nd run, everything went well for the first 6km until I heard the coaching voice say I'm running stagnant (or something like that). After that, it kept on giving some bizarre info such as my average speed was 100 mins per 10km or something like that. I can't really recall. When I completed the run, on the map, from the 6km mark to my destination, it just showed a straight line. Nevertheless, during the time the coaching app worked, it was just great. It kept pushing me to meet my target speed, informed me of my cadence and stride which really was a great motivation. I just hope that the app will work properly in my next run in the next couple of days.
