The shoes is great. Improved my running performance. The sensor monitors the sliding length and that is helpful to my technique.
However, despite the accurate shoe size, the toes are squeezed in the front part during running. I’ve tried with a thicker socks or tightening the shoelace. My feet would be sliding in a bigger sized shoes, and uncomfortable in a smaller size.
If not because of the discounted price, I doubt I would get it. I was generally intrigued by the advertised ‘best performance shoes’, and the sensor
Overall, I would recommend it. I have been using it almost everyday. But put them on and walk a few steps first before buying.
I bought a pair of HOVR Infinite's early last spring as I had been on the hunt for a better shoe. As a long time distance runner and a wearer of several brands I have had some recent injuries over the last few years. Out for a month, out for 3 months that turned into 6. After so many injuries I thought I would just hang up my running shoes. 5 years and 40+ lbs. later and I needed to do something. My injuries were almost always related to my lower body and I thought if I could find a shoe with more support maybe I could get back on the road. In arrives the HOVR Infinite last spring and now is as good a time as any. Starting with low mileage in March and slowly, slowly increasing it every month I finally found a shoe that had the support I was looking for and honestly has kept me injury free (knock on wood).
The shoe itself is a little heavy. I don't mind this in a training shoe and again I am after a consistent weekly mileage that is based more on how many miles than how fast are the miles. The size is true too as I wear a 12.5 in most shoes and the Infinite's are the same. In my mid 50's now and I don't have the speed of my younger days when I could take off training at 6, 7, and 8 min miles. My 8, 9, and 10's are now the norm and I am OK with that as I've lost 20 of the 40 I gained from my peak running days and I believe the shoes are the main reason I'm still on the road. In days of old I can't tell you how many times I'd change shoe manufacturers after wearing out a pair just to try something new. Not today. After a few hundred miles on my first pair, I ordered another pair. Guess what though, they are a different color....LOL
These shoes have far and away surpassed my expectations. For years, I've ran in a competitor's shoe, and decided to try these when the competitor changed the style of my normal shoe to something that I didn't like. I've worn them 5 times and have 60 miles on them including a 21 mile long run. While they're a little heavy compared to other "racing" shoes, they fit well and have lots of support. When I finished the 21 mile run the other day, I didn't feel beat up, even days later. BTW, I'm a marathon runner with a PR of 3:05.
I have been using these shoes for the past two weeks. The shoes are very comfortable and are very stylish. I have been very satisfied so far.
Just started to run this year so I picked 2019 runners world pick. The comfort was perfect for a beginner and I’m sure even more for a pro. The only prob was for some reason one sneaker it feels like I got a flat tire and I walk more on the side of the shoe and only with these particular sneakers. I have 7 pairs of UA sneakers and it’s only happened to these. I really like all of UA products
I love these shoes! Very comfortable, light weight, just an awesome shoe. And the ability to gain data from the app that these shoes connect to is a great bonus.
I must state that I have never been an under armour sneaker buyer. I've never had success with any of their sneakers until this model. First off it is extremely comfortable. I have zero issues while running in these and they offer cushion support that is excellent. The only concerning thing is now that they are broke in I'm starting to get a rubbing sensation on my right little toe out of the blue. Outside of that, under armour has made me a fan.
Bought this shoes to replace my Brooks Ghost 13 and I am very happy with these. I was worried about the size fiven various people stating that they tend to be a smaller fit. I am 10.5 on running shoes so I just went for my size and they fit perfectly!
Love the connectivity. My running cadence, pace and running index have all improved since getting this shoes. The coaching through MapMyRun is amazing and I just can not believe how much inhave improved in just a couple of runs since having this shoes. Highly recommended for any runners!
So far, performance is average, i just git these a month ago got about 50 miles in them. Too early, ask me again 3 months from now!
I am happy for every $ i spent it on 3 different colours of the same model, especially the white one.
So comfortable and high performance .
